Shreeji Development Enterprise has built across the Greater Banjul Area since 2010. Construction is our core work. Land sales, borehole drilling, laterite quarrying and concrete block manufacturing give every project a more dependable foundation.

How we work

From first visit to handover.

A clear six-stage path, with payment and progress tied to work you can verify.

  1. 01

    Site visit and brief

We come to the plot, look at the ground, access and drainage, and establish what you want to build and what you want to spend.

  2. 02

    Design and written quotation

Drawings and a bill of quantities, so you can see the building and its price together — with exclusions stated, not implied.

  3. 03

    Scope and programme agreed

Specifications, milestone dates and a payment schedule tied to completed stages, all in writing before mobilisation.

  4. 04

    Construction under supervision

Direct oversight from our leadership, with checks at foundation, reinforcement, ring beam, roof and finishing.

  5. 05

    Documented progress

Dated photographs and written updates at each milestone, so funds are released against work you can verify.

  6. 06

    Snagging and handover

Defects list agreed and cleared, services tested, keys and documentation handed over.

What does Shreeji Development Enterprise do?

We are a construction and development company in The Gambia with five divisions: building construction, land sales, borehole drilling, laterite stone supply and concrete block manufacturing. Because materials and water come from our own operations, our construction projects depend less on third-party supply than most.

How long have you been operating?

We have been building in The Gambia since 2010 — over 15 years — and have completed more than 40 projects across residential, commercial and hospitality work.

How do I get a quotation?

Call, email or send an enquiry through the site with the location, what you want to build or supply, and roughly when you want to start. For construction we then visit the site before quoting, because ground conditions, access and drainage all affect the price and none of them can be judged from a description.

How are payments structured?

Against completed stages, not against calendar dates. A typical schedule releases funds at foundation, ring beam, roof, and finishing milestones, with photographic evidence of the completed stage before each release. This protects you far more than a date-based schedule, which pays out whether or not the work happened.

Do you work on projects for clients living abroad?

Regularly. A significant share of our residential work is for Gambians in the diaspora. Written scope, stage-based payments and dated photographic evidence are what make it work, and we also encourage clients to appoint someone locally who can visit the site independently of us.

How does the rainy season affect my project?

The rains run roughly June to October and they affect earthworks, foundations, concrete curing and external finishing. We sequence programmes so weather-sensitive work falls in the dry months where the start date allows, and we build the wet months into the programme rather than pretending they will not happen.
